Abstract
447,443. Centrifugal -action lubricating. ROBERTSON, T. R., 7, Hurst Street, Liverpool. March 23, 1935, No. 9117. [Class 12 (iii)] A pulley sheave has a U-shaped passage 6, formed in its body, the limb 6a of which contains a plunger 8. When the pulley revolves this weight acts on the lubricant in the passage by centrifugal force, feeding lubricant to the cavity 3 in the pulley boss. A small passage 12 connects this cavity with the arm 6a. The passage is filled with lubricant through an orifice 9.
