Abstract

446,840. Spray-producers. BROWN, F., Langley Works, Long Acre, and GALLEY, H. S., 21, Glebe Road, Barnes, both in London. Dec. 3, 1934, No. 34703. [Class 69 (iii)] A spray pistol comprises a spray head divided by a partition into an air chamber 15 and a liquid chamber 13 carrying coaxially a liquid jet 17 and an air nozzle 5, and provided with rigid air and liquid supply pipes 2A and 3W which form with a valve operating lever 4 a handle for the pistol. The spring - closed air and liquid valves carry stems 18 projecting through the forward face of the pistol against which the operating lever 4 bears, the amount of opening of each valve being regulated by a screw stud 30 and the total movement of the lever limited by a stud 28. The valves are mounted in the valve-chamber so that they tend to close by fluid pressure. Interchangeable nozzles may be provided to vary the character of the spray delivered.
