444,997. Obstructing keyholes. RUFINO, A. O., 550, Calle Rivadavia, Buenos Aires. June 6, 1935 No. 16505. [Class 44] A keyhole-plate 1 is provided on its rear side with a sliding plate 9, which is urged by springs 6 so as normally to cover the keyhole, and a recess 13 in the top edge of the plate 9 is adapted to engage a groove in the key shank, when the latter is in position, to prevent the key from being pushed out from the opposite side of the door. A pin 4 secured to the pate 9 works in a vertical slot 3 in the keyholeplate 1 to enable the plate 9 to be moved manually. The plate 9 has side flanges 10 bent over at their upper ends 11 and slides between the keyhole-plate 1 and a flanged plate 41 secured thereto. The flanges of the plate 41 are bent inwards at 5 and the springs 6 are inserted between the bent flanges 5, 11.
