[Class 123 (ii)] A number of inclined closed containers 2 for the heating medium of indirectly heated steam boilers extend longitudinally in the steam drum 1 with at least two arranged one after the other, the containers being traversed by longitudinal water-evaporating tubes 3. The containers may be arranged in two or more rows with containers side by side oppositely inclined, Fig. 2. Or adjacent containers in a row may be oppositely inclined so that their evaporating tubes discharge at about a common upper point. The containers are supported by a hanger 7 from a rail 8 facilitating insertion.
