Water-tube boilers.-To prevent choking of the gas passage D in a tube wall formed by bring- ing a number of tube rows B, C into one plane, the passage is formed by bending the tubes to form a greater number of rows F, G, H than they formed originally, the width of the spaces between the tubes being thus increased. The tubes of a row K arranged in front of the tube wall are placed in front of the front tubes forming the front row F in the gas passage.
