[Class 69 (iii)] [See also Group VI] An apparatus for disinfection and destruction of vermin comprises an ejector or spraying device having inner and outer tubes 16, 20 forming an annular passage for steam, liquid or a mixture thereof, the inner tube containing an electric heating unit, the heat from which is transmitted to the medium through toothed rings 19 contained in the annular space and causing the medium to flow in a zig-zag path. The space between the outer shell 23 of the device and the tube 20 serves for insulating purposes.
