Abstract

429,225. Valves. KLASS, G., 105, Bolsover Street, London. June 1, 1934, No. 16360. [Class 135] In a safety device for gas cocks &c., wherein a spring-pressed non-rotatable sliding sleeve e on depression frees two lugs j on the underside of a member h integral with or attached to the valve body d so that the valve can be turned by a thumbpiece on the member h, the spring c rests on a metal washer b. The upper surface of the sleeve e may be serrated so that by a step-by-step movement of the member h thereover, a gradual opening of the valve may be obtained.
