414,188. Door fastenings. BANKS, J. H., Wharfedale, Manor Hill, Sutton Coldfield, and BANKS, G. H., The Laburnams, Banks Street, The Manor, Willenhall, both in Staffordshire. April 11, 1933, No. 10736. [Class 44.] A spring catch for securing a door, gate, window or the like in a desired position, has two levers C on pivots c mounted in a U-shaped frame A secured to the door or wall by feet a<1>. The inner end of each lever has a rounded projection c<2> engaged by a spring D between the levers. The outer ends of the levers, which are forced together by the spring, have recesses to receive a roller F mounted in a bracket upon the wall or door. When the door is opened the roller strikes the rounded portions c<3> of the levers and snaps into the recesses.
