Abstract

411,946. Roller brushes. DOSSMANN, E., (trading as DOSSMANN, W.), 8, Markt, Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Dec. 29, 1932, No. 36797. [Class 19.] A roller brush consists of a number of semicylindrical shells a, b, having L-shaped flanges e which are engaged by conical connecting rings f to support the shells a, b, on the shaft c in spaced relationship thereto. The connecting rings f at the ends of the roller are fitted with integral nut portions g which engage screw threads on the shaft c to clamp the parts of the brush together, and to prevent rotation of the brush relative to the shaft c, one of each pair of complementary flanges e is formed with a groove h for engagement with a key m on the shaft.
