[Class 12 (i).] A bearing bracket comprises two substantially semi-cylindrical parts 1, 2, the abutting faces of which have interengaging ribs 7 and grooves 10 which are of substantially arcuate form throughout their length. Preferably the ribs 7 are circular, having a centre c situated on the bearing axis, and the sides 8, 9 thereof are tapered upwardly.
