Abstract
404,599. Valves. SULZER FRERES SOC. ANON., Winterthur, Switzerland. April 12, 1932, No. 10462. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, June 23, 1932]. [Class 7 (vi).] In a two-stroke engine, supercharging-air is admitted through a passage g leading into the space f between the cylinder exhaust ports and a valve e which further controls the exhaust. This valve closes the exhaust soon after bottom dead-centre, and the supercharging passage g is opened by a valve h after the valve e has closed and the scavenging ports c have been covered by the piston.
