Abstract

401,032. Swivels. RIDGILL, E., Dronfield, near Sheffield. June 9, 1932, No. 16267. [Class 24.] A swivel coupling for connecting the parts of the link mechanism of jigging conveyers, mining machinery, &c., comprises two members 10, 11, Fig. 1, arranged end to end and having their free ends bifurcated and provided with holes for attachment to the link mechanism, one of the members 10 being formed in two parts and secured by riveting &c. about a headed stud 14 on the other member. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, the member 11 is formed in two parts hinged by the pin 18 so as to bend at right-angles to the axis of rotation of the swivel.
