Abstract

397,679. Endless-belt conveyers. BELCHER, D., 600, South 4th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. Sept. 15, 1932, No. 25685. [Class 78 (i).] In apparatus for consolidating the pulverulent contents of bags, the bags are fed to the vibratory plate 11, and are moved across it by a feed belt 42, having an outer corrugated surface, and supporting side belts 50. The belts are driven from the main shaft 29 by rolls 44, 54 respectively, and the idle rolls 55, 56 of the side belts are laterally adjustable to allow for adaptation for use with different sizes of bags. Side guards 19 and guides 61 are also laterally adjustable.
