Abstract

788,067. Jigging conveyers. GOODWIN, BARSBY & CO., Ltd. May 29, 1956 [June 3, 1955], No. 35122/54. Class 78 (1). Granular material is delivered from a hopper 16 by a jigging tray 10 which is open at each end 14, 15. Material is discharged at each end of the tray. The tray is disposed horizontally below the hopper and is supported by rollers 28. It is reciprocated by an adjustable crank and crank-shaft mechanism 31 driven by a motor 29. Pivoted doors 23, 24 disposed across the direction of reciprocation are adjusted to vary the size of the side outlets of the hopper. The hopper is divided transversely and/or longitudinally to permit the simultaneous feeding of several materials.
