Abstract
389,276. Dog harness. JENKINS, D., 7, Quay Street, Cardiff. March 15, 1932, No. 7666. [Class 62.] An adjustable harness comprises straps which cross at right-angles in a slidable manner within a holder 8 at the top of the harness. In Fig. 1, the chest strap 1 carries the looped ends of two straps 4, 5, which after crossing within the holder 8 pass through the looped ends of the strap 1 and around the body of the dog, being secured by a buckle 7. In Fig. 2, a single strap 14 looped in the shape of the figure 8 is used, the ends being secured if desired by a short auxiliary strap 15. The holder 8 comprises two pieces 9, 10 of leather riveted together at the corners, a loop 6 for the attachment of a leash being held in the fold 12 of a strip of leather 13 passing through a slot in the upper piece 9 and riveted at two of the corners, or alternatively being held in holes in the upper piece 9.
