[Class 144 (ii).] In a tyre gaiter comprising cross-chains 13, with or without a diagonal chain 14, connected by end-pieces 11, 12, one of the end members is formed with a buckle 19, 20 to receive a fastening-strap 10 attached to the part 12. The parts 11, 12 may be formed from stiff wire or stamped metal.
