378,698. Condensers. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., Marconi House, Strand, London.-(Assignees of Roberts, W. Van B. ; 155, Hodge Road, Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A.) Oct. 12, 1931, No. 28332. Convention date, Oct. 11, 1930. [Class 38 (ii).] In a condenser screened in a frame housing 1, the rotor 8 and stator 11 are both insulated from the frame. A pigtail 12 passes through an aperture 14 in the frame 1 and is insulated therefrom, to enable electric connection to be made with the rotor. A series of such condensers may be arranged for control, from a single dial. The pigtail connection is preferably of springy material which returns to the same shape so that it has an inductance which is a definite function of the rotor position.
