377,521. Coin-freed locks. PARKER, WINDER, & ACHURCH, Ltd, and BATES, W. E., Broad Street, Birmingham. Nov. 3, 1931, No. 30386. [Class 27.] Money-boxes.-The coin-chamber 1 of a coin-freed lock is provided with a circular or other cornerless opening and a cover therefor fitting flush with the casing, the cover having a strengthening wall 5 carrying a projection 6 which is passed through a small gap 3 in a shoulder 2 surrounding the opening. The projection 6 and the bolt 8 of a lock 7 carried by the cover extend across the edge of the opening. This edge is thickened by an internal rim 4 having a gap opposite the gap 3 in the shoulder 2. The lock 7 may be placed within the casing adjacent the opening, the bolt when shot engaging a loop on the cover. Two or more projections 6 may be provided.
