[Class 7 (iii).] The needle valve d of a water-cooled injector is guided by a member b<1> in which an interchangeable nozzle a is carried. The bottom c of the guide member bl is extended outwardly to form a flange which is engaged by the cooling jacket g to form the water space surrounding the nozzle. The needle valve is provided with a flat face which seats on the nozzle a.
