[Class 122 (v).] Packing for a revolving shaft comprises a member c rotating with the shaft and slidable axially thereon under the sole influence of the difference of fluid pressure on its opposite sides and formed with holes e through which lubricating oil' from the bearing B gains access to the rubbing faces. Oil thrown centrifugally from these faces is caught by the rubber washer g' and guided back on to the member c.
