Abstract

365,950. Caps for bottles. ARMSTRONG, J. J. V., 12, Church Street, Liverpool.-(Phoenix-Hermetic Co. ; 2444, West 16th Street, Chicago, U.S.A.) June 4, 1931, No. 16183. [Class 125 (iii).] A cap for bottles &c. comprises an outer metal cover 4 having a depending flange 5, an inner non-metallic sleeve 6 having a thread on the inner face thereof, and a non-metallic packing disc 8. The sleeve 6 is secured by bending the lower edge 9 of the flange 5. The sleeve 6 is cut from a tube of internally threaded non-metallic material.
