Abstract

364,251. Toy guns. BRITAIN, F. and BRITAINS, Ltd., 28, Lambton Road, Hornsey Rise, London. Nov. 13, 1930, No. 34218. [Class 132 (iii).] The breech of a toy gun is open at the rear for the reception of a projectile f and has a rearward projection c below the opening to form a seat for a cap, the cap and the rear end of the projectile being struck by a single spring-loaded striker d upon its release from cocked position by a trigger lever g. The gases generated by the explosion of the cap pass through a duct f<1> into the bore to assist the propulsion of the projectile. The-striker is pivoted on a pin d<1> and is actuated by a spring e upon its rotation past the dead-centre position by the depression of the trigger lever g. The barrel is adjustable for elevation and is held in position by a lever i pivoted thereto and engaging one of a series of notches h<2> in the carriage h.
