363,128. Reinforced concrete. STENT, D. H., Hunts, Upminster, Essex. Dec. 13, 1930, Nos. 37636/30 and 1627/31. [Class 20 (iv).] A fork-ended strut for spacing the main reinforcing rods of concrete piles consists of a metal bar stamped, pressed, or rolled to a. profile section and forked at both ends. The spacer shown in the Figure consists of an intermediate stem of U -section and forked ends a of a flat semi-elliptical section. The metal between the horns of the fork is pressed up to form an end flange. In modifications, the sections of the stems are I- or V-shaped, arcuate with flat-flange edges, or channel-shaped.
