[Class 20 (iv)] Metal reinforcement for concrete in the construction of floors, slabs and the like comprises an openwork metal sheet 1, and strips or rods 2 bound to the sheet these strips being of U-shape in section and kinked or reduced at certain points 4 where bending occurs during the folding of the sheet to form a core. The ends 5 of the strips are left flat and are bent around the reinforcing bar 8 for the concrete 9.
