[Class 135.] In a combined mechanically and electromagnetically actuated valve, the valve member B is arranged to be lifted from its seating by a hand-lever on a rotary spindle D provided with forked members d<1> embracing the valve spindle. The valve is maintained open by the action of the solenoid E, e<1>. The members d<1> rest normally, when inactive, on an internal projection a<1> of the casing A and abut against a flange b<1> on the valve spindle for opening.
