359,687. Setting s nap fasteners. NEWEY, J. C., 105, Brearley Street, Birmingham. Oct. 13, 1930, No. 30542. [Class 43.] In a tool a for eyeleting snap fasteners to fabric, &c., there is provided a ring or sleeve f of rubber or other non-metallic resilient material arranged around and projecting beyond the operative face b of the tool, the sleeve f being of such a diameter that a dome g or head portion of a snap fastener part may be retained therein. An inwardly directed flange engages an annular peripheral groove on the tool a so as to secure the sleeve f thereon. The tool a may be the upper of a pair of small press tools and consists of a cylindrical member having a screwed spigot c for securing to a press plunger or the like. The face b corresponds to the contour of the dome to be inserted.
