358,922. Twisting and winding yarn at constant speed. BRITISH CELANESE, Ltd., 22, Hanover Square, London, DEAN, R. I. R., WALTON, C., WOODRUFF, A. H., and FULTON, S. M., of British Celanese, Spondon, near Derby. July 14, 1930, No. 21341. [Class 120 (ii).] To produce packages of uniformly twisted yarn upon supports with conical ends, the yarn is drawn from a constantly rotating delivery bobbin 1 by the winding pirn tube 11, the variation in the rate of winding being compensated for by means operating synchronously with the traverse and comprising a guide 15 arranged between two fixed guides 13, 14 and oscillated by a cam 19 to take-up and let-off the yarn.
