Abstract
357,452. Seat-lid action water-waste preventers. LEWIS, J., 301, Johnson Avenue, Winnipeg, Canada. Dec. 31, 1930, No. 39281. [Class 26.] A pipe 29, Fig. 2, opening into a tank 14, Fig. 3, near the bottom thereof communicates either with a water supply pipe 16 or with a closet basin 1 under the control of gate valves 40, 41. The pipe 16 passes through a central stay 15 in the tank, and the pipe 29 has an air hole near its lower end. The valves are linked to members 42, 43 adjustably connected by a member 46, and are simultaneously operated by the seat lid 4.
