Abstract
357,072. Sliding - clasp fasteners. DUCHROW, H., 25, Ruppinerstrasse, Rathenow, Germany. March 17, 1931, No. 8241. Convention date, May 12, 1930. [Class 44.] In a slider of the kind in which the upper and lower plates can be brought nearer together, as, for example, by folding down the usual operating tab, so as to grip the fastening members and retain the slider in any position against accidental movement, the inner face of either or both of the plates is provided with ribs, projections or other irregularity adapted to engage the spaces between adjacent fastener members. The Figure shows a slider blank in which the lower plate portion 2 has a pair of stamped-up staggered projections 4. The projections &c. may be separately formed and suitably affixed.
