[Class 78 (iv).] A method of transporting heavy wheeled loads involving the use of an articulated vehicle such as described in Specification 350,585 consists in temporarily supporting the front end of the wheeled frame by the jack 9, as shown in the above-mentioned Specification, removing the connecting-pin 8 tothe wheeled chassis, such as the tractor 7, lowering this end of the frame if required, placing the rail extensions in alignment with the rails on the frame, and unloading the load along the rails on the frame and along the rail extensions.
