[Classes 61 (i) and 61 (iii).] A threaded spindle 3, which is screwed by hand through a fixed nut to operate the piston of a fluidpressure jack on a road vehicle, is provided with a spring handle 3b to facilitate storage with other tools &c. It may also be formed with lugs 3e to enable it to be utilized to rotate a tubular box spanner 9, Fig. 3, for use upon the nuts of the vehicle wheels.
