Slipping-preventing attachments to wheels. - Tractor and like wheels are built, or fitted, with radial arms b which can be projected to act as tread grips by screw gearing comprising threaded stems e<1> carrying pinions e meshing with a sleeve rotatably mounted on the boss c. The sleeve is actuated, to project or withdraw the grips b, from the outside of the wheel by a tool engaging one of a pair of pinions f geared to the sleeve. In the form shown, the device is fitted with claws h<1> for attachment to ordinary wheel spokes.
