344,168. Hand &c. wheels. BAILEY, A. W., Thapex Works, Aldridge Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham. Feb. 1, 1930, No. 3519. [Class 80 (iv).] Wheels, such as steering-wheels for motor vehicles, comprise separate resilient or other spokes a welded, brazed, or riveted at their inner ends to a ring c, the spokes and ring being clamped between boss parts d. e, which may be screwed together. The ends of the spokes are so formed as to fit and be welded together and the spoke ends and ring fit over a polygonal surface f on one of the boss parts. Screws, pegs, or rivets g interlock the boss parts and are retained in position by a celluloid covering h formed around the part e.
