Lectern desks. - In an invalid's table, music stand, or like device of the kind comprising a telescopic standard and an arm with an adjustable table top on it, the top m is provided with raised edges n and spring clips p for holding books &c. The top is connected by brackets t, Fig. 2, to the arm g, which is connected to the telescopic standards b, c by a screw clamp h and discs f formed with shoulders i to limit the pivotal movement of the arm. On the part b of the standard is an auxiliary table z adjustably connected to the arm w by screw and nut devices; the arm is connected to the standard by a screw clamp u.
