In a safety razor of the clamping blade type which may be used for shaving under the arm-pits, the blade C is made with combined straight and semicircular cutting edges A. The guards and clamping plate are of corresponding shape, the uesual aligning and clamping pins being provided. A safety razor of known type having a circular blade and a concave clamping plate is also shown and described.
