Contents, facilitating access to; fittings, internal; drawer-and-shell cases.-A cardboard or metal case or package for cigarettes, cigars and other small articles consists of a casing 2 and a drawer 3, a step 21 being provided in the drawer to support a layer C of cigarettes in alignment with an opening in the casing at one edge of which a slope 15 is arranged so that when the first layer has been removed the sliding of the drawer will cause a second layer C<1> to be guided by the slope to the opening. The casing is formed from the blank shown in Fig. 5.
