Abstract

324,598. Bellocq, T. May 7, 1929. Momentum apparatus.-Apparatus for raising liquids from wells &c. comprises a cylinder a provided with an outlet cock b and a piston a<2>, and communicating with a suction pipe c immersed in the liquid and provided with a non- return valve e. The cylinder and pipe are first filled in the liquid, and the piston is then operated to produce compression waves in the liquid, which is delivered through the cock b. The cock is normally open, and is adjusted to control the delivery. Specification 323,502 is referred to.
