324,286. Jennings, I. C. March 19, 1929. Centrifugal pumps; casings.-A liquid-ring pump has one or more annular ribs 20 in the casing 12 for the purpose of eliminating axial eddy currents. Corresponding ribs 21 may be provided on the rotor. The inner walls 25 of the casing, and the rotor, are conical and are ported for inlet and outlet.
