Luncheon and picnic baskets and cases.-In a luncheon or picnic basket, wherein the basket sides are hingedly connected to the base and adapted to fold down substantially into its plane, the basket portions, with the exception of the base, which is of solid wood or plywood, comprise square or rectangular-section wooden frames 14, to which the components of metal hinges of the ordinary two-part form 3 are secured, the area within the frames being closed by basket-work. The lid 4 may be detachably connected to one of the sides and the sides to the base 2 by separable hinges of known form, Fig. 3.
