540,675. Wirebound and like boxes. STAPLING MACHINES CO. March 10. 1941, No. 3213. Convention date, March 14, 1940. [Class 18] The top, bottom, front and back of a box are constituted by the four separate sections shown, each consisting of fibreboard &c. 1 with turnedover edges 7 and edge cleats 2, the sections being secured together by wires with looped ends inserted one in the other and bent over, the open ends being closed by fibreboard sheets with inturned edges, wires secured to the faces of these sheets passing through holes in cleats 2. The meeting edges of sheets 1 overlap slightly. Tongue-and-groove or mortise-and-tenon cleats may be used.
