Abstract

314,711. Wells, E. G., and Dacke, C. E. H. Aug. 9, 1928. Sliding bolts.-A flat spring-shot bolt 15 is guided in loops 14 struck up from, or riveted to, a back-plate 11 secured by screws 12, and has a depending tongue 17 passing through a slot in the plate into a cavity 18 cut in the article &c. 10 to which the bolt is secured, the spring 19 also being housed in the cavity and bearing at one end against one end of said cavity and at the other against the tongue 17. The end 16 of the bolt is upturned to serve as an operating handle.
