Ambulances.-A couch and/or seat comprises two side members 1, 2 interconnected throughout their length by flat bars 3 which form a rigid reclining or supporting surface, each side member having a curved head end 5, an oppositely curved foot end 6 and substantially flat intermediate portion, the head being supported on legs 10 and the foot having downwardly projecting bars 13 to carry wheels 16. The legs 10 and for the supports 13 may be adjustable, removable and/or telescopic. Wheels may also be provided upon the legs 10, the device then serving as an ambulance.
