Abstract

316,431. Bunn, C. W. July 23, 1928. Rests, foot.-A foot-rest, for use by the occupant of a seat mounted upon the same structure, comprises end plates 2, preferably of triangular formation, spaced apart by members such as rods or tubes 3, and pivoted eccentrically, as at 12, to links, 9, whereby the inclination of the foot-rest and its distance from the seat may be varied. Fabric 6 forms the actual surface of the rest, and the pivoted links 9 may also be telescopic. A foot 13 may be formed on each link 9, and additional adjustment may be provided for by means of eccentrically pivoted stops 14.
