Abstract

302,372. Jungmann, M. Dec. 16, 1927, [Convention date]. Abdominal belts.-An abdominal belt 2 is arranged so that. the weight is supported by the pelvic bones instead of higher up, as hitherto, the belt being arranged in as low a position as possible, preferably on a level with the hip joints, so that a torsional effect is produced on the pelvic bones. The belt 2 has a support 1 which may have flexible ribs 3 and elastic insertions 4, and may be combined with a girdle 5. To prevent the belt slipping, a lacing 7 may be provided at the rear of the bandage 5. The belt 2 may be fastened at the rear by lacing &c. The plate 1 may have auxiliary supporting belts 12. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also an elastic belt 2. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
