Drying fabrics, fibres, and materials in long lengths.-Cellulosic films, filaments and the like are dried by passing over rollers disposed without free spaces between them as shown in the drawing, all the rollers being driven and internally heated to a temperature below 100‹ C., the speed of travel being such that the material itself is not substantially heated. Specifications 15281/09, and 258,836, [Class 2 (ii), Cellulose &c.], are referred to.
