Abstract
292,311. Bailey, F. April 29, 1927. Rack stands. - A stand, table dinner-waggon, or the like a, Figs. 4 and 7, is provided with a pair of U-shaped members e pivotally connected therewith at the sides b so as to come together to form a handle in the erect position, or to fold against the sides. The base c of the stand &c. may be extended beyond the sides to support the members e in the folded position. The stand, table or dinner-waggon may have fixed legs f and a shelf a', Fig. 4, or the legs may be hinged at i, Fig. 7, below an extension b' below the top of the stand &c., and operating means, comprising a pivotal handle m and link members k, l, Fig. 7, for the legs f, may be provided, together with catches or stops to maintain the legs in the folded or extended position. Catches or stops may also be provided to keep the handle members in the raised or folded positions.
