209,967. Macdonald, H. C., Macdonald, J., and Macdonald, D. Feb. 8, 1923. Rack stands.-A dummy waiter comprises a stand having thereon one or more trays, each of which comprises a base portion 3, 4 and' side portions 6 one or both of which is adapted to be folded out in a plane until substantially level with and forming an extension of the base portion, or to be folded up into a vertical position to give the trays a trugh-like form. The trays may be connected by legs 8 so as to move together and form supporting legs when the side portions are opened out. Arms 10 hinged to the frame 1 and having pin and slot engagement with the legs 8 act as struts to hold the device rigid.
