Floors, waxing. - A method of waxing floors consists in mounting resiliently hard wax elements on a rotating portion of a floor-polishing machine. In the construction shown in Figs. 1 and 2, a metal disc a adapted to be secured to a driven member of a floor-polishing machine is formed with radial slots b so that the segments a<1> are resilient. Cylindrical wax elements c are arranged on these segments, an intermediate layer d of felt or fabric being interposed between the segments and the wax. The wax elements may be secured in recessed portions of the disc. In the construction shown in Fig. 6, a spring-pressed disc a provided with wax elements c is secured to a driven member k by means of pins l secured in place by spring clips m. In a further construction, the disc carrying the wax elements is mounted on a rotating brush and is formed with upturned corners for engagement between adjacent tufts of bristles.
