Abstract

490,174. Brushes &c. SAVOGRAN CO. Sept. 17, 1937, No. 25296. Convention date, June 21. [Class 19] An abrading and moistening brush adapted for use in removal of wallpaper, wax, or paint from surfaces, comprises stiff abrading bristles 2, Fig. 2, mounted in a stock 1 and surrounded by tough liquid absorbent sponge material 5 flush with the ends of the bristles. The material 5 is preferably cellulose sponge and the bristles 2 of wire. In a modification, Fig. 3, a block 10 of spongy material has numerous wires 12 extending therethrough. Specification 245,049, [Class 2 (ii)], is referred to.
