Abstract

287,100. Siemens & Halske Akt.-Ges. March 15, 1927, [Convention date]. Contact-making relays.-A relay armature 1 is maintained in position on a knife edge 7 formed at the end of the yoke 6 by a bent fixing plate 3 secured to the yoke. The plate 3 is formed with a reduced portion 3<1> passing through a slot 2 in the upper arm of the L-shaped armature 1, the portion 3<1> of the plate 3 being slotted at 4 to permit of adjustment of the plate 3. The plate 3 is formed with lateral projections 3<11> bearing on the outer sides of the armature to retain it in position and a bent-over projection 3<111> acting as a back stop to limit the movement of the armature, the amount of such movement being determined by varying the angle between the portions 3, 3<111> of the fixing plate.
